K. B. Joshi Institute of Information Technology (KBJIIT) is dedicated to women’s education under Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS). Admission to the full-time BCA, B.Sc. IT, MCA, and M.Sc. CS programs is open exclusively to female candidates.
KBJIIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in computer applications and information technology. The courses include BCA with 120 seats, B.Sc. IT with 60 seats, MCA with 60 seats, and M.Sc. CS with 60 seats.
For BCA admission, candidates must appear for the MAH-BCA CET and participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted as per Maharashtra State CET Cell guidelines. Admission is based on CET performance, eligibility, document verification, and CAP seat allotment.
Candidates seeking MCA admission must appear for the MAH-MCA CET and register for the CAP rounds conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. Eligible candidates can select KBJIIT during the option-filling process and complete admission after seat allotment and document verification.
B.Sc. IT admissions are conducted by the institute based on merit. Candidates need to complete the registration process, and selected candidates must submit the required documents and pay the prescribed fees to confirm their admission.
M.Sc. Computer Science admissions are conducted at the institute level based on eligibility and merit. Candidates should complete the registration process and submit the required documents for verification. Admission is confirmed after selection and payment of the applicable fees.
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (HSC) or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Statistics, or Accountancy as a subject. They must also meet the applicable minimum marks criteria and have a valid non-zero MAH-BCA CET score.
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (HSC) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. Students who did not study Mathematics in Class 12 may be required to complete the prescribed bridge course/test as per the applicable university norms.
Female graduates from eligible disciplines can apply for MCA. Candidates should have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level, meet the prescribed minimum marks criteria, and have a valid MAH-MCA CET score.
Female candidates with an eligible bachelor’s degree such as B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Physics, Mathematics or Electronics, BCA, or an allied engineering degree can apply, subject to the prescribed minimum marks and university eligibility requirements.
The documents generally required include Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates, Leaving/Transfer Certificate, Aadhaar Card, photographs, domicile and nationality documents, and applicable category certificates. PG applicants also need graduation documents, while BCA and MCA applicants may need CET and CAP-related documents.
